Nusayba Hammad is a Palestinian-American organizer and communications specialist in the DC area. She holds a BA in Middle Eastern Studies and Women, Gender, and Sexuality from the University of Virginia. Nusayba serves on the board of the DC Palestinian Film and Arts Festival.
Thayer Hastings is a master's candidate at the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies of Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Thayer has worked with local Palestinian and international non-governmental organizations, including BADIL Resource Center, the American Friends Service Committee and the Rachel Corrie Foundation.
